HALVERSON LEE TRIBUTE by HIS DAUGHTERS

Our Dad
 LEE  HALVERSON

We admire and respect him for serving his country and enjoy listening to some of his adventures and experiences in Korea.

Dad is not afraid of hard work.  When Kennecott was on strike Dad would go where ever he needed to for work.  One time he brought a tarantula home in his lunch box.  From Nevada, I think.  At the time I thought it was cool.  But now I wonder where that tarantula went.

Dad is always fun.  When we were kids we always had fun with dad.  Whether it was card games, horseshoes, shooting pool, practicing archery or just playing in the yard while he irrigated we always had fun with dad.  We spent a lot of time camping, fishing and more camping.

The grandkids always look forward to visiting with grandpa.

Dad was always the enforcer.  I don’t think I need to elaborate on that one.  Suffice it to say, the phrase “Wait till your dad gets home” put fear in all of us.

Dad is always there for us when we need him.  He helps us with our houses and yards and always listens when we need someone to lean on.  And he can fix just about anything.

Dad knows more about birds and plants for survival than anyone else on the planet.

Dad makes friends where ever he goes.  People know when they meet him that he is a straight up kind of guy.  He is always there for his friends and helps everyone.  Dad is outgoing, respectable and respectful.  People like that.  And he’s fun to be around.
We love you dad, and we are very proud you’re our father

dad.  We wouldn’t have it any other way.
